My child was being unsafe in the community running away being found
 with men 40 years older than her.  she went to a facility when she was
 16 years old under juvenile court and dcfs.    Dcfs placed found the facility under their placement team.

At Rock River Academy my child ran away many times her first major run
 she was found prostituting in Rockford, Il.   I did not want her to go
 back to Rock River but her case manager at rock river said we never
 turn girls away.  Children at Rock River have many run offs, many
 fights between each other and the staff. Rock River does not have much
 activities for the children inside the facility even their gym
 equipment have been taking away because of fights and staff not
 watching children like they should.
  
Rock River children are not medicated well.  My child did not see a
 psychiatrist for a total of four months at a time.
 
Girls at Rock River continually say I have a girlfriend, well my
 daughter finally told me that girls are continually having sex with
 each other, and sometime staff just walk right by it as their doing
 bed checks.

I have witness arguments in the hall and staff just stand around and
 watch without taking the children one by one away from each other.
  Next thing you know the police are being called and a girl is being
 arrested.

I also found it very difficult to speak with her case managers and
 counselors they rather show you the door to leave than speak with you
 about your concerns.   When you call on the phone to speak to your
 child, many times staff do no answer the phone , or they don't tell
 the child you are calling, when you ask the staff for their name they
 just hang up the phone on you.

Another thing they do is talk kids out of making a complaint to the
 police when their is a fight, but when Rock River has had enough of
 the child they quickly press charges instead of calling the sass team.

I can also tell you sass team is never called, they let children manic
 for a long period of time before calling anyone.
